The Chula Vista Animal Care Facility, over the years, has maintained good relationships with the local PetSmart and PetCo affiliates. They are one of the few Animal Care Facilities in the area that regularly bring cats and dogs for adoptions to the stores for people to become acquainted with what the Facility does, and what animals are in urgent need of loving homes.

All-day dog adoption event
A HUGE DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the Rock Church located at
Liberty Station 2277 Rosecrans Street in San Diego from 9 am to 2:30 pm.
Over 20 dogs will be available for adoption. We will be located in the back lot of the

LISTEN UP -- MIMI HAS SOMETHING TO SAY 
Mimi (A134616) is a 3-year-old spayed, female, medium-coated domestic cat. She is very friendly and loves to cuddle. Mimi gets along well with other cats. Besides this little darling being available for adoption, she wants to let you know about all of the exciting feline activities going on at the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility.
First when visit us to see all the great orphaned pets that need homes, you will see a bit of construction going on. We are expanding our cattery area!
Looking to adopt a cat?
Right now all cats that are over one year of age have a special adoption fee of $25.00.
Adoptions include all cats being spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated with FVRCP and tested negative for Felv, FIV, and heartworm. You can visit all the lovable pets available for adoption at The Chula Vista Animal Care Facility located at 130 Beyer Way in Chula Vista. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 am to 4 pm, and Saturday from 9:30 am to 3 pm.

We plan to regularly post the offsite events as well as links to other pages that
will give you all the information necessary to participate in these events.
The Animal Care Facility always needs people who can foster animals for several weeks
until they are ready for adoption, so we urge you to go to this link and sign up on line to
volunteer your services. You can be sure the animals will be happy to leave their temporary
Shelter life behind them.
